Victoria's New Room

Another old post:

In January, my husband and step-dad fixed up the bonus room. So that the girls would have their own bedrooms. I knew we would have to do this one day anyway....teen years.  My husband had other hopes for this room (pool table, big TV for games).  Hopefully he will have his man-cave...in 20 years! There's always the basement...

This is the before picture. We moved that mess to another attic space that my step-dad fixed up. Sorry too dark to get a picture on my phone.

The finished project. It only took a little less than 4 months to complete. One project down... 25 more to go!


Update:  6 months later she is sneaking into her older sister's room to sleep. Oh well...

Baby number 3

I guess I'm a little late with this post... We just had our 3rd baby girl last april. Everything I have heard about 3rd babies are true..so far. She is so easy going and only cries for food and sleep. She weighed 7lbs 1 oz. She is actually the biggest of the three.

Long time....

Yeah I know it's been awhile. I'm not a very good blogger! Sometimes (a lot of the time) I don't have much to say. Let me get up to date REAL fast:
-I'm 34 weeks pregnant with a scheduled C-section April 26th
-We are having another girl!! Poor daddy!
-My husband switched jobs... working NORMAL hours (Praise God!!)
-Olivia is now 5 and starting kindergarten in the fall
-Victoria is turning 3 in May and starting preschool in the fall

Other than the small details....that's about it!

Yes...I'm getting uncomfortable and this pregnancy has given me no sleep. However, I do look forward to April!! I feel bad that I have not taken many belly pictures during this pregnancy. When your butt seems larger than your belly, you really don't want pictures taken. I don't have anything ready for this baby yet and feel so behind! Well I do have a little over a month. My husband and step dad are working on finishing the bonus room for Victoria, so they will all have their own room. They really don't mind sharing rooms, however, in the near future that will change.

Now to go relax, while everyone is sleeping.....

Catching Up!!

I'm such a horrible blogger!! It HAS been a very long time since my last post. I will say it's been busy around here. My family had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas. December and January flew by so fast. And February is almost over..... which means we are getting closer to spring!!!

Just recently my bestest had to move away from me. Her husband is in the army. We have been best friends since preschool. And basically grew up together.  So in a way she is like another sister to me. Hopefully she won't be out there very long... I miss you Nikki!!!

My little Livy-loo is 4!!

On September 20, 2006 at 12:46am, God blessed us with a little baby girl. I remember that night like it was yesterday. She has brought to us so much joy and laughter. I've enjoyed watching her grow into a beautiful little girl. She continues to amaze me with her words and contagious personality.

You want holes in your ears? Right?

My daughter Olivia has wanted her ears pierced since she was two. Yesterday while we were at the mall she kept asking to get it done. I actually wanted to wait until she was about six so she would be able to help clean and take care of them, but she was persistent and I gave in. I thought she would probably just get scared and back out, well boy did she surprise me! She let them pierce her ears, or as Livy would say put holes in them, and she didn't even cry! That's my girl!! I had mine done at the age of seven and I cried! I have explained to her the importance of cleaning and rotating them. When I forget about it, she has reminded me to clean them. Seriously?!

Blog Award!

I just received an award from my good friend Misty! I am suppose to share 7 things about myself. Hmmm....


1. I clean like crazy when I'm mad.

2. Yes, I wipe the walmart buggy down before I stick my kids in it. One less bug to have, and plus Victoria will chew all over it.

3. I could wear scrubs everyday.

4. Once I did have my belly pierced. FYI: scar will stretch after pregnancy.

5. Totaled my first car at 16.

6. Fell in walmart, on some kind of sticky gel...yuck!! Embarrassing!!

7. I could eat feta cheese on everything.
